Village Festival 💙

 The village festival is the traditional "Ganadevi Pooja" that has been going on in our village since ancient times.The reason for holding such a pooja is based on the beliefs and beliefs of the villagers from ancient times.From time immemorial,I have heard that when the villagers of our village do good deed,they make a vow to the 'God Pulyara' and start that work.This is still the practice of the villagers today.Today,in most of our villages,this is done by sowing paddy,reaping the harvest,pouring milk from the fresh rice and making milk rice,offering sweets and offering sacrifics to the gods.For this purpose,all the men living in the village take fresh rice,coconuts,sweets,bananas,pahanthira,camphor,incense,gum,etc obtained from their harvest to the temple where Gana Devidu resides.Then the Kapu Mahaththaya in the village makes a vow for Gana Devindu,ties the lips,pours milk,makes milk rice,rings the Sakgediya and brings all the villagers together and eats inside the temple.

The villagers make sure that the participation of women is not used for this,at it is a traditional custom.All the farmers in the village take part in this process and one misses this process.The villagers strongly believe that it is their fault for doing so.In addition to perfoming the Ganadevi Pooja together with all the villagers,this pooja is also performed in families at the temple where Ganadevi resides.That is,the Ganadevi pooja is perfomed at the tenple where are Ganadevi sists together as a family for the ceremonies such as proving a vow to build a new house,proving a vow for a child's examination,and vowing to return Successfully after a long journey.Is done 💚
