My Proudest School ❤

 My prestigious school name is A/Ethakada Maha Vidyalaya.This is located in a village called Ethakada in the Medawachchiya division.I called this the "Proud School" because it was this school that gave me university opportunities.This School conducts educational activities from grade 1 to grade 13 and also a reputed school in Medawachchiya division.I enterd this school on 17.05.2017 on the 12th Grade.I received a great reception at this school that day.





I enterd this school, the principal was Mr.Sudath Gunarathne.His support for school education as well as extra curricular activities was immense.The Principal & the teachers were instrumental in bringing this school to the forefront of the Kebithigollewa Education Zone in terms of education as well as sports activities from a very disadvantaged background.In addition,there is a high inclination in the field of art in this school.My brothers & sisters at this school have been able to win many 1st & 2nd places in the "All Island Esraj solo Playing Competition" for many years during a time when there was a crisis of musical instruments in the school music room.Almost every year in this school,the students are able to study well and pass the GCE Advanced Level Examination and qualify for university.The school has produced many highly regarded personalities such as doctors,engineers,lawyers,teachers & talented athletes.The "Mahindodaya Technical Laboratory" located at the school is of great use to the students of the school at present.



It is also a matter of great sorrow to my heart that the school playground,which was the birtplace of some of the most talented players in the country,is now in a state of disrepair due to a lack of proper funding 😢

My heart's friend 💙
