My hometown 💚

 My village is located on one side of the town of Medawachchiya in the Anuradhapura District.My village name is Galkadawala.The environment of my village,which is full of difficulties,offers a brethtaking view.There are currently over 50 families living in my village.The livihoods of the majority are chena farming and paddy farming.so my village has a lake and a large paddy field designed to collect water.




My village,wich has suffered a lot from the horrific terrorists for over 30 years,can be seen to be very happy today.what is special about my village is that there are no major problems in other parts of our country such as flood,food shortages,fuel shortages & water shortages.It is a metter of great pleasure to all the people of my village that my village was not harmed at a time when other villages around my village were being severely persecuted by wild elephants.My village receives good rainfall during the months of Marcj,April and October,November & December of the year,which enables the farmers to cultivate chena and paddy fields very well.






Since everyone in my village is a Buddhist,every evening of the week everyone gathers near the shrine in the village to commemorate the religion.



Not only that,at a religious ceremony,at a wedding,at a girl's puberty ceremony,at someone's funeral,all the people in the village get together and do it very peacefully.It is a reflection of the good qualities of the people living in my village.Although the livlihood of the majority of the villagers is farming,those who worked in the Civil Defense Department,the Sri Lanka Police & the Armed Forces also live in my village.The majority of those employed are those who have passed the A/L examination.In addition,there are several school teachers in my village.They have completed their formal education and enterd the teaching profession through Colleges.I am fortunate to be the 1st person to live and work in my hometown,complete my University qualifications and enterd a University along the way so far.My 1st hope in my heart is to graduate soon and serve my village first.I think it was a show of gratitude to his hometown ❤️🥰

 My Name is K.Niranjan Sasindu Rajadasa.I Was born on 29.08.2000 at Anuradhapura General Hospital.My Father was a Police Officer but my mother was a housewife.My hometown is Galkadawala.I still live in that remote village. I was educated at A/Puhudivla vidyalaya in a village near my hometown.I passed the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination in the midst of many difficulties.Although I had the opportunity to go to A/Kekirawa Central College,I did not go.  The hero in my heart is my father.He was born on March 10,1963 at the Karapitiya Hospital in Galla.My father was the 2nd in a family of 5 siblings.My father,who passed the GCE Advanced Level Examination in commerce with distinction,jjoined the Sri Lanka Army during the horrific BLACK JULY of 1988 & 1989. At the end of that terrible era,my father left the Sri Lanka Army and Soon joined the Sri Lanka Police.He (my father) was married to Mrs.Vayalat Ranjanee Jayarathne (my mother) on 16.03.1998.They had no children for almost two years and then I was born on August 29,2000.My family has told me that my father was overjoyed when I had his 1st child,a boy.
