My 1st School 💓

 The 1st School I attended was A/Puhudivula Vidyalaya.I enterd the first grade of this school on February 15,2006.This school is located in a small village called Puhudivula in Medawachchiya town in Anuradhapura District.This School was started on the 10th of May 1948.Initially the school consisted of one teacher and 5 children.from then until today,the school has more than 300 students and over 20 teachers.originally started from a coconut hut,the school now has about 10 halls made of cement.




When I was studying at this school the road to school was dilapidated and in those days there was a shortage of teachers coming to the school.There were many instances where even the new teachers who came to the school were transferred and left the school due to the difficulties in coming to the school after a while.However,for 10 cconsecutive years from 2009 to 2019,my school was able to come 1st in the GCE Ordinary Level Examination results in the Kebithigollewa Education Zone.This School won the All Island Men's under 17 championship in 2007 in Volleyball.until recently,the teachers of this school were able to produce athletes all over the country.But sadly I still do not have a sports teacher at my school.Although there are many talented students in this school,today the only subject in this school is art.when I was studying in this school I came to Dance subject when I was in grade 6 (2011) and Oriental Music subject when I was in grade 8 (2013) and after 2017 the subject of Oriental Music and Dance left this school because I wanted to do teaching activities Because there are no teachers.However,employees of very important occupations such as Doctors,Engineers & Teachers have emerged from this school from its inception till date.A few years ago,the teachers refused to come to the school due to the dilapidated road leading to the school,but now the road is well paved with tar.It saddens me that the playground which praduced athletes all over the country,is now a place where cattle are kept 😒


I am fortunate to be the 1st & only student to have a basic University education in Music today after ccompleting my basic education,including music,at this school.Therefore,I hope to graduate soon & do a great service for this School 💚

My heart's friend 💙

 My prestigious school name is A/Ethakada Maha Vidyalaya.This is located in a village called Ethakada in the Medawachchiya division.I called this the "Proud School" because it was this school that gave me university opportunities.This School conducts educational activities from grade 1 to grade 13 and also a reputed school in Medawachchiya division.I enterd this school on 17.05.2017 on the 12th Grade.I received a great reception at this school that day.
